We want to help you tell your story. Here is our first story we want to share with you…

Ricky Winters – Pennsylvania
I’m gonna try my best to tell my story and hopefully somebody can help me. My DUI happened back in 2018, almost 7 years ago now. I had just gotten done meeting my kids for dinner and on my way home from dinner, I was pulled over after being told about my registration. My car registration had expired, which I wasn’t aware of or this would have never happened. I was asked why it smelled of marijuana and I was honest that I wasn’t smoking while I drove, but recently had smoked in my car to help with my anxiety. At that point I was pulled out of my car.
I told the cop where everything was. They took a freshly bought qtr of flower and a new pipe I just had purchased, but had left all of my carts and concentrates due to not having a way to process those items. I also went through a lengthy sobriety test which I passed, so no idea why they had to arrest me to take me for blood, but they did. My lawyer said in my discovery that I passed with flying colors and showed no signs of intoxication. So only thing that got me the DUI was the blood test. At the time I was making $26-65 an hr as a roofing foreman and eventually lost my job and eventually left my career that I had worked in for over 22 years. This DUI literally changed my life for the worse. I haven’t driven since and can’t afford to have that breathalyzer installed in my car to get my license back. Its been a very long 7 years and would love to have my life back and be able to legally drive again.
